Latest car accident

On our way a meeting, this is what happened

The thing is at least 12 Centimetres long… As a matter of fact, I am not sure I saw a screw this long before ( are they called screws?) Luckily we were driving uphill on the road that takes you from the municipality to Deir ghbar… and the car was not fast.

Out of curiosity, where could it have come from?

أنا مرة أختي كانت سايقة السيارة من شغلها لبيتنا ولما صفت السيارة لقت إنو في برغي داخل بالعجل..
هية كراجات الشركة إلي بتشتغل فيها في جمبهم عمارة عم تنبني فيمكن من هناك أجا البرغي..
أو يمكن زي بفيلم كركر في واحد شغلتو يمشي ويرمي مسامير وبراغي علأرض عشان ييجو يصلحو العجال عندو

That’s called a “bolt” (as in bolt and nut), possibly from some piping assembly or some heavy duty fixture. Could have fallen from a car or engine too.
Oh and bad news, that tire is completely destroyed!

I have to come out clean on this one…I did it..but smth came up and I couldn’t stick around out to change ur tire..

I am by no means an expert, but from the looks of the tread you may be due for new tires anyway. The bolt may have saved you from a future blowout

Madas habeebti, I had a blow-out on airport road with a car full of kids; it was only by God’s grace we were stuck behind a slow truck and not going 120 and no one was hurt. So it is from horrifying experience I speak, plus the fact of how much God is crazy about you, obviously.
