HIV/AIDS is still rampant today and there is no cure for it. we need to practive safe sex all the time because an ounce of prevention is still better than a pound of cure.

Is this a rhetorical question or a suggestion? I would agree with the suggestion. We are controlled by religion and therefore we should start thinking of religion as a tool to spread awareness and positivity. You are absolutely right… kids are having sex whether society likes it or not.. The only problem that is happening is that they are not protected because they are afraid to be judged, they are afraid of being killed, they are afraid of being marginalized… so therefore maybe the best course of action is give them info and let them use their brain and judgment!

It took place last year but i agree with you, we are still very far from sexual education, although it is becomeing a key issue

i wonder how useful it would be to use religion as a catalyst. a little sugar makes the medicine go down?

in other words, what if the person educating these kids was a bearded, articulate religious scholar who could deliver sexual education in a religious (islamic) context. would that eliminate any chance of being attacked?

the problem with promoting such education and awareness is that it is viewed by conservatives as promoting vice, when in reality its propanants are acknowledging a reality: kids are having sex and they need to have it safely. this is a debate ongoing in the US for example, with republicans constantly promoting abstinence to the degree of ignoring realities.

where is that training taking place ? and honestly sadly like you said we are ages away from any acceptance of any for of sexual education
