Romantic photography
I came across this… I am not sure what to call this genre of photography… romantic maybe…?
Rosie lives in England and Aaron lives in the States… but they have figured out a creative way to be together.
“These are the compilation images Rosie and I have done together. Every Sunday Rosie takes an image in England and I take one in America, and we put ourselves together, even if it is just in a photo. Love separated by an ocean.” Aaron said.
It is totally fascinating for me that they are not in the pictures together!! The pictures are too pretty not to be real… And as always I am super fascinated with technology and how the impossible becomes possible with technology. And anyway..i think that declarations of love using modern technology are super romantic!
I leave you with the blog… in it they describe the pictures and show the before and after… they also talk about techniques and videos and other cool stuff….I think i am in love with their site… and feel that anyone who likes photography would also fall in love with it …
By the way…I wonder why at our side of the world, we don’t see this kind of creativity manifested in any way? I mean is it lack of drive? lack of tools? lack of training?… what is it?

I wouldn’t call it romantic photography because it just seems to me that at least half of those pictures go beyond romance to eroticism.

I always felt that eroticism is heightened when combined with romance
theirs is not only romantic… but it is sweet! there is one picture that i found very strange the one where they combined their features in one person…

That really is one incredibly weird picture.
Looking at it, i can’t help but see how Aaron will look like if he decides to become a transvestite.. that dude has such smooth feminine features that just blend well with hers.
However, in the back of my head, the romantic side of me is like, “awwwww, they totally complete each other!”

It seems that Rosie and Aaron are very popular. Their Flickr page has had 160,000 visitors!
I looked at the thumbnails. It appears that the two of them are together in some of the pics. Do they digitally alter them so that they appear side by side, or in each others arms?
If these two really love each other, then best of luck to them. But, if they remain separated by an ocean, I don’t see how their love can last.
