Even when there is no fighting going on, Egypt is forcing the people of Gaza to stay locked up there. Is Egypt really afraid that a few Hamas militants might cross the border and cause trouble? I am not a fan of Israeli government policies toward Palestinians and I am not a fan of Iran stirring up trouble by sending money and weapons to Hamas and Hezbola. The Palestinian people have just been pawns in a vast geopolitical game for decades. They deserve much better! I heard on the news today about two young girls who were killed by an Israeli bomb. I felt really sad to hear that. I saw another report about a hospital in Gaza that is overwhelmed with injured civilians. Even one of the doctors was severely injured by a bomb as she was rushing to the Hospital to help the wounded. She is not expected to survive. That was also very sad to hear. But they were all young, passionate and sweet. The police was there only to make sure things don't go out of control... protestors were constantly offering them water and food! I think they are just expressing their frustration at the silence on Arab governments levels. The clear message everyone is sending out is that they don't the ambassador anywhere in Amman, and of course for the aggression to stop.
