I also hope the bombing of Gaza will stop very soon. I read a report about Gaza, maybe a year ago, that talked about the siege by Israel and its effects on the people there. Gaza is like a huge prison that has become a Ghetto. The people are hungry and many have no means to support themselves. Poverty and hopelessness have driven some to commit acts of violence against Israel out of desperation. The people of Gaza need hope for a better future. But, where will such hope come from? Israel blames Hamas and Iran. Well, Hamas evolved out of decades of Israeli repression. Continued and increased oppression will not end violence against Israel. If Israel wants peace, they must make some serious concessions that will help the people of Gaza. Hi Mariam,
