you do know that those are not Jordanians, makes me wonder would there be safety precautions if they were?
About a year ago I worked with a contractor who had a man fall to his death from a building like this one, took him about >>a week<< to resolve the issues, but I don't recall the nationality.

also do you know what can of living conditions they have here? and I mean specifically the ones mainly in construction labor and not working and living in the urban locations.

this rings up bells from about a month ago, regarding the human trading thing mentioned in Jordan? I think it all connects.

mr.anonymous AKA Wall-E (and machines are pre-highly regarded,check Asimo)

Oh my God David... of course i care! I am a bit afraid of heights... when i saw those guys i wanted to throw up!!... they are hanging there at the third floor by this silly rope... ! it is dangerous!

I have ben thinking that i do not understand why Jordanians don't worry about their lives? i wonder if it is cultural, or religious, or what is it exactly... but these guys either have no choice... and they need the money so desperately and they accept to do the work without any safety... or they feel they are immortal! i am not sure.

What those guys are doing looks really dangerous! In the U.S. people working on the sides of buildings are required to wear safety harnesses. We has a guy here in Indianapolis last month working on a scaffold on a skyscraper. The scaffold collapsed! Fortunately, he was wearing a safety harness that was connected to the building. It took the firemen a couple of hours to rescue him from where he was hanging, but he had only some minor injury.

I'm glad that you care about people working like these guys. :)
