Clutter

I woke up today to realize that snow did not stop all night, I have been stuck at home for two days… and the prospect of a third day was a bit too much to bear.  Staying home is normally not an issue for me.  I am a self entertaining person But home this week was not a house… it was a carnival!

Residents were mom and brother, the everyday residents… aunt who came from Aqaba with her two teenager sons (12 and 14 )and who are positively slappable they were stranded with us…. There was also my sister and her baby kid (less than two years). Both women freaking out about their husbands who are travelling and are scheduled to come back today… both women were not sure if husbands can make it home and were super irritable and dramatic.

At some point my other sister come to visit with her two kids (4 and 1 years) her maid came along. Soon after brother came to check up on us with his wife!!!  It seemed that we were in a hybrid world between a circus and a carnival!

People were not the problem but  the house was messy with mattresses, blankets, pillows… dirt glasses and plates all over the place…. but worse is the clothing… there were pieces of clothing at every single corner… it seemed like a clothing bomb had exploded in the house…

NOISE… NOISE… NOISE…. and more NOISE

At some point I thought I will commit suicide if I didn’t hide somewhere… Therefore I decided to clean my room….

I sort of learnt how not see the clutter…. today I decided to open my eyes and look …. I felt like I unearthed a hideous scandal!  I can’t believe there is spot so perfectly ugly as my desk was… How can a person gather this much clutter in a few months?!  ufft!

Sunday midnight

I spent most of the day looking for a calculator! No luck… I did not leave a drawer nor a closet without looking… no calculator what so ever in the house….

Monday
In a rare occasion these days, my sister H. and I were on a bonding trip. We decided to pick up our sister E. from the airport.

I suppose we were hoping for quite a bit, when we thought the trip to and from the airport would be uneventful.

When we came out after picking up E. we noticed that some bus was parked across the street from us… ya3ni between us and this bus there was a street… kulloh tamam up until this point…..however Mr. bus was a tiny bit too big for that spot.  And since we were surrounded by 3 big cars, the only way out was reverse…   which is how cars usually drive our of their spots in garages….I know that muchbut I am trying to show that there was no other option besides reversing…… What is specific for this case was that there was not enough space for my beautiful Polo to reverse…  we were stuck.

I tried to reverse a few times, but since my siste
